Rajasthan Traffic Police Challan Rates and Fines List

Traffic rules are a set of guidelines and regulations that govern the behavior of drivers, pedestrians, and other road users on public roads. These rules are essential for ensuring road safety and reducing the number of accidents on the roads. In Rajasthan, there are several traffic rules that all road users must adhere to, and there are also challan rates for violating these rules.

One of the most fundamental traffic rules in Rajasthan is wearing a seat belt while driving a vehicle. All drivers and passengers must wear seat belts, and failure to do so can result in a challan of Rs. 1,000. Another essential traffic rule is wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler. If a person is found not wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler, they can be fined Rs. 500.

In Rajasthan, it is also mandatory for all drivers to carry necessary documents like driving licenses, insurance papers, pollution certificates, and registration certificates. If a driver is found without any of these documents, they can be fined Rs. 500.

One of the most common violations of traffic rules in Rajasthan is overspeeding. If a driver is found overspeeding, they can be fined according to the following rates: Rs. 400 for a speed limit of up to 20 km/h, Rs. 1000 for a speed limit of up to 40 km/h, and Rs. 2000 for a speed limit of more than 40 km/h.

Other traffic violations that can result in a challan in Rajasthan include driving under the influence of alcohol, jumping traffic signals, parking in a no-parking zone, and using mobile phones while driving. The challan rates for these violations range from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 10,000, depending on the severity of the offense.
