In order to ensure smooth travel between states and on interstates, National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) teamed up with HDFC bank. This eliminates the need for drivers to stand in line, and like any other bank’s Fastag, HDFC bank cards have Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) printed in the center of the windshield.
When the car passes the booth, the system reads the RFID tag number and automatically deducts money from your HDFC bank account. You have access to the bank’s official website, where you can manage every Fastag transaction, top off your balance, and keep an eye on your account. You may spend much less time and money on petrol by using HDFC Bank Fastag. Additionally, once your car passes the toll or after the money has been taken out, a message will be sent to the cellphone number registered with your bank.
You can top off your HDFC bank fastag account using a variety of wallets, including Gpay and Paytm, but if you have the official HDFC net banking app, we strongly suggest using it to do so. Open the app on your mobile and under the “BillPay & Recharge”, select the Fastag icon. Enter your vehicle registration number on your wallet ID and click the ‘Pay’ button. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and confirm the transaction.
